Episode 6 - Change Class Names in ParentSquare

A quick Tech Tip this time around!

There are many reasons you may want to change the name of one of your classes in ParentSquare and thankfully that is an option for teachers. The Class Name itself can't be changed because it is synchronized from PowerSchool, but the "Display Name" can be changed and that can be very useful when you're trying to differentiate between similarly named classes.

After you sign in to ParentSquare:

1. Click on the "Admin" link in the top left corner.

2. Expand the "Data Assistant" menu in the left column(your view won't be as cluttered as mine is here)

3. Click on "Classes"

4. Click the three dots button next to the class you want to change

5. Click on Edit Class

6. A window will popup and you can enter a "Display Name" and click "Save"
