DIY: How to cut Heat Transfer Vinyl with a Cricut
This project should be simple and easy. As long as you follow the directions!
Materials and Links:
- Cricut Maker Machine
- Computer/Ipad
- Heat-transfer vinyl
- Sticky mat
- Tape
Scissors
- Weeding tool
Step-By-Step Guide:
INSTRUCTIONS!
Grab a computer/Ipad
Also grab tape, a weeding tool, heat-transfer vinyl, a sticky mat, and scissors
Turn on the Cricut maker
Connect the computer/Ipad to the Cricut via bluetooth
Open the Cricut application on the computer/Ipad and go to your project; if already made, if not create a project
Once a project is created and mirrored, take the heat-transfer vinyl, the sticky mat and the tape and put the vinyl shiny side down onto the sticky mat and tape the corners down
Once that is done, insert the sticky mat with the vinyl into the slots in the Cricut maker
Once that is done, hit make on the application and wait until the arrow button on the Cricut blinks and press it to load the mat into the machine
After the mat loads into the machine, wait until the Cricut button blinks, and then press it and wait for the project to finish
After the project is done, unload the mat and you are done
