Financial Aid
FAFSA GRADUATION REQUIREMENT
Beginning with the Class of 2022, seniors are required to complete the FAFSA (or TAFSA). The application opens October 1st; apply early for the best chance at available funds.
Students (aged 18) or their parents can opt out of this requirement using this form.
Find FAFSA/TAFSA workshops around the Austin area HERE (sessions are available in-person and virtually; all are open to any student/parent).
FEDERAL FINANCIAL AID can be awarded by the government and by the institution of higher learning that you attend. The amount of financial aid offered is based on need and can come in the form of grants or loans. The FAFSA (Federal Application for Student Aid) can be filled out starting October 1 of the senior year. We know filling out FAFSA can be confusing; see below for resources.
