The Fay T Barnes scholarship is due 5:00 pm Feb 1, 2026.
The Zoe-Zuniga Prince is due on March 25, 2026.
All other scholarships are due by midnight on Wednesday April 1, 2026.

**This Scholarship application is DUE FEBRUARY 1, 2026**
Requirements: Student must attend an accredited college or university in the state of Texas. Recipients must maintain a minimum cumulative 2.50 grade point average, and be enrolled in a full academic course load of 12 semester hours to continue to be eligible for the scholarship.
Selection Criteria:
Scholarship: Minimum overall "B" (85) average at graduation as determined by your weighted GPA.
Citizenship/Character: Activities, accomplishments and recommendations.
Financial Need: May be considered

In memory of Zoe Zuniga-Prince, a 1999 WHS Graduate

Requirement: Must present a digital portfolio of between 8-15 pieces and bring approximately 4 of their best works of art to an interview. (see Rebecca Thomas or Billy George for portfolio information)
Selection Criteria:
Applicant should be a well-rounded artist who displays art talent, drive, motivation, passion and skill.
Priority consideration given to students planning to pursue a career in the arts.

Requirements: Student must be a resident of and live in Eanes ISD and provide 2 letters of recommendation with their application. Must attend an educational institution (vocational schools, junior colleges, trade schools, community college or 4 year university) after high school.
Selection Criteria
Based on economic need, academic achievements, participation in athletic programs and/or service, & moral character.
This scholarship also requires 2 letters of recommendation in PDF form. Please have your recommender send these via email to Kyle Haenisch at jhaenisch@eanesisd.net.
In memory of Eanes student, Martha Shannen Reid
Requirement: This scholarship must be used toward tuition at either a 2-year college or a 4-year college.
Selection Criteria:
Must be accepted to a 2 or 4 year college.
Students with financial need will be given priority consideration.
Requirement: This scholarship must be used toward the recipient's college education.
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrates outstanding volunteer service to WHS and our community.
Student must have all community service hours logged in skyward to be considered.
Requirement: Graduating senior with a strong academic record.
Selection Criteria:
Makes a positive contribution to WHS and the larger community.
Requirement: Graduating senior with an above average GPA who will be attending a Texas institution of higher learning.
Selection Criteria:
Makes a positive contribution to WHS and is active in extracurricular activities
Scholastic Achievement is not the prime criterion.
Recipients shall be selected from students of average or better scholastic achievement who have financial need and the desire to obtain a higher education.

Requirement: Must be a graduating senior with demonstrated leadership qualities
Selection Criteria:
Evidence of leadership and an above average GPA.
Requirement: Graduating Senior attending a college in Travis, Hays, or Williamson County.

Must attend a college in Travis, Hays, or Williamson County.
Requirement: Graduating Senior with an above average GPA, pursuing any form of continuing education, public or private.
Selection Criteria:
Financial need (family income less than $150,000), scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities and be prepared to explain in an interview why they deserve a scholarship from Westlake Rotary.
In memory of Toody Byrd, Westlake Counselor and Director of Guidance and Counseling, Eanes ISD, 1970-1991
Requirement: Graduating Senior at Westlake High School.
Selection Criteria:
Must be accepted to an accredited college or university, involved in service projects, overcome a personal handicap or hardship, does not have to "fit in the box", must exhibit genuine love and concern for people and for learning.
Priority consideration given to students who plan to major/work in education.
Requirement: Graduating Senior at Westlake High School.
Selection Criteria: Based on one or more of the following:
Outstanding service
Positive contribution in bringing people of diverse communities and beliefs together
Involvement in religious/faith community
