Training Cadre

The Cape Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council (“CCRLEC”) is a critical public safety resource for the Barnstable County community. It provides local partnering police agencies with the ability to pool resources for incidents and events that may exceed a single agency’s ability to manage. The resources available to member agencies include staffing and equipment in a variety of specialized areas.

In addition to the yearly training schedule that is required of police officers to maintain their Massachusetts state certification, each CCRLEC unit receives specialized training in their specific areas of responsibility. Importantly, the training unit of the CCRLEC provides an additional training resource for Cape Cod law enforcement staff in a variety of public safety areas.
