Non-Member Law Enforcment Agencies on Cape Cod

The Cape Cod Community College Department of Public Safety protects and serves the campus community. The College employs POST-certified police officers and security officers to provide public safety and emergency services. Additionally, there are partnerships with the Massachusetts State Police, Barnstable County Sheriff's Office and the West Barnstable Fire Department to support operations and campus officers have direct radio communication with Barnstable Police in an emergency. Cape Cod Community College is a 120-acre non-residential campus located in the Town of Barnstable. 

The mission of the Massachusetts Environmental Police is to protect the environment and natural resources of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts through enforcement, education, and public outreach. 

The Massachusetts Maritime Academy Police Department is a law enforcement agency responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy campus and its students, faculty, and staff. It is a part of the Academy's overall security infrastructure, which also includes security guards and other personnel. The department is staffed by trained law enforcement officers who are responsible for a variety of duties. Massachusetts Maritime Academy occupies a substantial residential campus of approximately 1,500 acres at Taylor's Point on the Cape Cod Canal in Buzzards Bay in the Town of Bourne. 

The Mashpee Wampanoag Police Department is a full-service law enforcement organization dedicated to serving the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe and its members. It is a division of the Tribal Homeland Security Department and is responsible for law enforcement within the tribal jurisdiction.

The park rangers of the Cape Cod National Seashore are dedicated public servants who protect and preserve this iconic coastal landscape. They are passionate about sharing the natural and cultural history of the Cape with visitors, while also ensuring their safety and the preservation of the park's resources. The Cape Cod National Seashore is a federal reservation that spans across six towns on Cape Cod: Provincetown, Truro, Wellfleet, Eastham, Orleans and Chatham

U.S. Air Force Security Police

The primary military unit responsible for security services at Joint Base Cape Cod is the 102nd Security Forces Squadron. This unit is part of the Massachusetts Air National Guard and is tasked with protecting the base's personnel, assets, and infrastructure on Joint Base Cape Cod.
