Special Weapons and Tactics

Cape Cod Regional SWAT is a Special Weapons and Tactics team that is part of the Cape Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council.  The CCRLEC SWAT team responds to high-risk situations that exceed the capabilities of general patrol offices. The CCRLEC SWAT team serves high risk warrants, provides dignitary protection, apprehends violent persons and handles hostage or barricade situations. The CCRLEC SWAT team covers from Bourne to Provincetown and has responded to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket to support operations on the Islands as well. The SWAT team is fully trained and equipped to respond to critical incidents. The team also works with other agencies, including Federal, State and Regional entities.
