We follow the Edexcel specification but you may find resources from other exam boards useful. Ask your teacher if you are unsure if a question is outside of your course.
Additional exam questions for each topic in pure/applied can be found on examq.co.uk. Filter qualification for 'Edexcel A-level Maths' (Y12 and Y13) or 'Edexcel AS-level Maths' (Y12), then filter by area or topic. Click on the individual suggestions to bring up the question and mark scheme.
In 2021/22, students were given advance information about certain topics in their exams. The topics included here are not exhaustive, but you may find some of the resources useful for certain parts of your revision. You can find revision resources for the 2021/22 pure advance information below.
You can find our 2021/22 predicted papers for statistics and mechanics here. This is based on the 2021/22 applied advance information. Additional revision 'Regression lines (change of variable)' can be found here (not included in predicted papers but it is mentioned in the advance information for statistics).
Physics & Maths Tutor is an excellent source for revision material! Here you will find such delights as extra worksheets by topic, exam questions by topic, more revision notes and, of course, past papers.
The content is currently sorted under the old specification headings but there is a lot of crossover with the new specification. In Mechanics, Year 1/2 content comes from both Mechanics 1/2, but a lot of the questions may prove inaccessible until Year 2 due to the nature of the course. In Statistics, you should be able to complete most of Statistics 1, with some additional content in Statistics 2. Just ask your teacher if you are unsure if you should be able to do something or not! Remember, you are completing the Edexcel specification, but you should also find relevant resources from the other exam boards.
