Harriet Tubman

We held an Art Gallery to show off our learning about Black history this month! Kids created Jean Michel Basquiat-inspired portraits (mixed media) of their choice and spoke about their art and why this individual inspired them. Some girls performed a dance to "Get Up, Stand Up" by Bob Marley! 

Family, friends and peers enjoyed the gallery - we came together as a community to celebrate our learning, Black history, and the ARTS!

My students did such a fantastic job celebrating our lunch supervisor.
