To volunteer means to give back to your community. It means to use the blessings and abilities you have to help those who are less fortunate. When I volunteer I feel a sense of fullfilment that is second to none. Drew requires us to volunteer for 100 hours during our high school career so we can get involved with our community outside the school. It gives us the opportunity to explore passions, find new interest, and build unsuspecting connections. I have over 175 service hours during my time at Drew helping with food drives, raising money for hospitals, and mentoring young baksetball players!
