Geometry 

-Connecting right triangles with location distances on a map-

This project was the final reflection for our unit on Right triangles. We learned to make connections with distances on a map and the hypotenuse of a right triangle.

-Cookie/Tortilla Circle Project-

This project was the final reflection for our unit on circles. We used the measurements of a tortilla to talk about angles, area, circumference, arc length etc. 

 -Unit 6 Project-

This was our final project of the school year. We each individually made our own surveys for people to fill out. We used the data to make 2 way tables and learn about averages and relative frequencies. 

-Geometric Translations Project-

This was the project for the first unit we learned this year. We used our knowledge of geometric transformations for the real world. We used what we knew to make video games. We all had a different character associated with a periodic table element. We went through the design process to make sure our games explicitly displayed what we knew about transformations.
