-Outdoor Measurement Activity-
In class we chose an object outside to measure using our knowledge of trigonometry. We'd estimate the height of said object and also measure the angle of the object using a clinometer app. We would also measure the distance of us standing and the object. Then we used all of this data to accurately calculate the height of the object.
-Weather Report PrBl Project-
For this project we were asked to make a weather report by using the formulas we learned in our class. We used these learned formulas to predict average temperatures for every month for a future year.
-Bottle Rocket Project-
In class we learned about hyperbolas. For an activity we were asked to build bottle rockets that would fly up to a certain height when launched. And then we'd calculate the height of which it had reached.
-Probability Game-
In our precalculus class we were assigned to create games to help us better understand probability. Our game was called "Marble Grab" and the goal was to grab a specific colored marble each time. The chances of getting the specific marble had decreased during each level.
