-Purple Hibiscus Essay-

This essay shows my opinion and the gender roles presented in the book we read throughout the semester; "Purple Hibiscus". I discuss the interactions the main character has with her father as well as my opinions on her family dynamic. 

-What is a Hero Essay-

This was an essay from the first Semester. We had read the Oddyssey and were asked to write essays on whether or not we thought that Odysseus was a hero. I wrote my essay about what makes a hero. I also wrote about how I believe Odysseus is not a hero. 

-Introductory Letter-

This was the first essay we wrote for ELA this year. We were asked to talk about ourselves and give a brief introduction so that our teacher could get to know us. 

 -Vocab Story-

This was a writing prompt we had. We had to write a several paragraph story using our newly learned vocabulary words.
