The corn hole board project required several steps.
First, teams were chosen based on the highest scores from the equipment usage test. Next, students students made their own designs for corn hole boards on paper. Then, students calculated the measurements for each section of the board. After that, students to measure, cut, and assembled the plywood. Finally, the best designs were painted on to the assembled corn hole board using a scaling method.
Students learned the true value of teamwork from this project. If only half the members of the group participate, then the project as a whole suffers. Students also learned the value of the saying “measure twice, cut once.” If students measured incorrectly, cut, then re-checked the measurements, any errors couldn’t be corrected. The project was only successful if all group members contributed, and the board was correctly assembled.
