For my final in geometry, I designed a stained glass christmas tree. I was inspired to make that since it's almost christmas and there are many different shapes that I could incorporate into the painting. We incorporated color, shape, and texture into our painting. We created texture by quickly pressing the brush up and down. I can relate this project to what we're learning in class because we had to find proofs of triangles and parallelograms, which we've been learning. We measured the sides and angles of parallelograms to make proofs.
The slides shown above is my children's story animation. I animated the story "Little Red Riding Hood." This project taught us how to use translations and dilations of shapes.
