Throughout Unit 1 of Algebra 2 we learned about the different types of sampling/statistics (systematic, random, stratified, etc). Throughout those learnings we had to use the knowledge of that to our abilities, which is why we started this project. By choosing a sampling method we created an array of questions for people to answer. Considering that our school start and end times have changed this year we decided our topic and questions would be based on that. We then created a survey with 5 questions that were a mix between categorical and quantitative Afterwards, we sent the survey out so at least twenty people could answer the survey. By doing that we got to see if the change in time really affected people or not.
This project was created by: Jessyka Edwards (me), Tristen Sylvester and Suri Cook. My role in this project was creating the topic and the questions. Something I learned about surveys is that you don't want questions to sound too repetitive and make sure that you are as specific as possible so people don't get confused when answering your questions. If I were to do something differently next time it would be to be more prepared and do things on time so you don't miss pieces of information or confuse yourself.
