For this project, we were required to make an innovative piece of technology that could help people with one of the 4 diseases given to us. My partner and I decided to choose diabetes. The main reason for this was that diabetes disproportionately affects black people. We then came up with a shirt, headphones, a smartwatch, and sneakers that could be of benefit to those with diabetes.
