The neolithic revolution marked the beginning of agricultural practices among society. Before this development, many people were hunter gatherers and they went in search for food often eating it raw. During the Paleolithic the roles between men and women were pretty similar. Men often hunted for the living food(boars, fish, etc.) and women foraged for berries and plants. After the neolithic revolution women began to take household roles like bearing children and making food. Men would tend to the farm and plant the crops. Injustices developed through these roles and people were separated by importance of their job. The caste system in India is a great example of these roles.
One of the most notable developments was the discovery of fire. This invention allowed the previous hunter gatherers to cook their meat and intake less diseases which overall extended their lifespan. Another invention would be the domestication of animals. Before the neolithic revolution the people were going outside of their home or villages to kill or collect their food. This practice was very dangerous considering that there were often other predators trying to search for that same food source. Domesticating these animals that were used for food kept the supply high and the time spent searching for these animals was greatly reduced.
Having trade routes throughout various capital cities can lead to the spread of religions by distributing these religions through these trading routes. Countries that trade with each other often have a similar culture or a differentiating culture to one another. A great example of this is the spread of buddhism. During the Han dynasty the silk road trading routes were developed. These routes are famous for being all across Asia, Europe, and that included India. India is buddhism's cultural hearth so as the Hans were making trade with India, buddhist practices became more and more familiar to Chinese society.
Centralized and decentralized governments are both forms of government where multiple people are in rule but they are not the same. Centralized governments have one group of people making decisions establishing laws, and controlling the government. These people aren’t necessarily specialized in one form of government instead thy oversee all. Decentralized governments do not have one group of people making the decisions, instead they have groups of people in their specialized fields making these decisions. An example of a decentralized government would be the United States’ government and an example of a centralized government would be the United kingdom.
