About Me...

Hello everyone! My name is Ayo McGregor, and I am a part of the class of 2026 at Drew Charter School. This is my fifth year at Drew, and it's safe to say I have learned so much about myself and who I will become. I love all things creative, and I am passionate about taking care of myself, whether it be mentally, emotionally, or physically. I love being in nature and at festivals around Atlanta. I am actively involved in my community through events like feeding the homeless, civil rights protests, and leading the youth in my community through cultural engagement. Within my school, I am a student dancer/choreographer, I am co-president of the Tree Club, I am in the BETA Club, I am a member of the National Honor Society, and a member of the Spanish Honor Society. Outside of school, I am a part of the first cohort of the Black Women's Mental Health Career Navigation Fellowship, I led youth through the New Afrikan Scouts for 6 years, and I volunteer within my community, whether it be passing out food for Thanksgiving, feeding the homeless, or making my community beautiful.
