For my immersive experience, I created a large whale shark model entirely out of cardboard and incorporated a mechanical system to bring it to life. I carefully designed and assembled the structure so that it would resemble the size and shape of a real whale shark, paying attention to details like the fins and body proportions. To enhance the realism, I built a simple mechanical mechanism that allowed parts of the whale shark to move, making it feel more dynamic and engaging. This movement helped create a more interactive experience for viewers, as it gave the impression that the whale shark was actually swimming. Overall, the project combined creativity, engineering, and hands-on problem-solving to turn a basic material like cardboard into a moving, immersive display.
