Basketball has been my first love since I was four years old. In high school, I realized it was more than just a game it was something I truly wanted to pursue. At Drew Charter, I was proud to be part of the school's first-ever junior varsity basketball team, helping to make history. Through hard work and dedication, I earned multiple awards for outstanding performance on the court. Being part of the team has shaped who I am today, both as an athlete and a leader.
I started track and field for the first time this year, and I've already grown a lot—especially through competing in discus. The event has taught me discipline, technique, and mental focus. My current personal record is 100 feet, which is a strong start for a first-year 10th grader. I'm proud of the progress I've made, and I see this as the beginning of a journey that could take me to the collegiate level and beyond.
