For shaping our world Ancient Egypt, I worked with Althea Byers, Armesha Glass, Krista Fongeh, and Jackson Thibeault. Each teammate worked efficiently, equally, and honestly. Each teammate is satisfied with the results of our ancient civilization video. We used our time wisely and infused our creativity into the video.
How can understanding the achievements and cultural legacies of ancient civilizations help us appreciate and preserve the diverse cultures that shape our world today?
Understanding the achievements and cultural legacies of ancient civilizations enhances our appreciation for cultures by highlighting their historical foundations, fostering respect for diversity, and providing valuable lessons from past successes and failures. These civilizations demonstrate how interconnected humanity has always been through trade and exchange, and modern innovations while emphasizing the importance of preserving traditions in a rapidly globalized world. By recognizing these connections, we can promote differing perspectives today, ultimately strengthening society as we navigate together.
We acquired all this information from multiple sources, and they were backed up by history books that came from Mr. Bennett and Ms Cain. This document and information from books helped us determine the geography, religion achievements, politics, and economics. This also helped with modern day uses from this ancient civilization.
Making Mud Bricks!!!
As I prepare to create mud bricks, I started by mixing water and soil in a large pit. With my feet firmly planted in the mixture, I begin stomping down into it, feeling the cool earth squish between my toes. The rhythmic motion of stepping helps break apart clumps while blending just enough moisture for that perfect consistency. This process not only connects me physically to these natural materials but also allows me to engage in an age-old technique used for centuries around the world, neolithic times. So overall it was very fun and creative!!
Ancient Egypt was one of the world’s first civilizations. It is also one of the most famous civilizations in history. In Ancient Egypt, they built huge pyramids, temples, palaces and tombs. Ancient Egypt was the preeminent civilization in the Mediterranean world from around 3100 B.C to it’s conquest in 332 B.C. Ancient Egypt use geometric principles to design their architectural structures by often utilizing ropes with knots to ensure right angles and perfect square bases. In Ancient Egypt, the most geometric shapes that were seen in its architecture were squares, triangles, and sometimes circles. You can see symmetry, degrees sort of similar to Aztecs. Finally, in my drawing you can see . I honestly really enjoyed this project a mixture of dr. Kurt class contributes.
