The morning assembly helps us cultivate a sense of belonging towards the school. It is an exercise in self-discipline and we learn to respect and appreciate what others have done for us. It is a channel to share information related to school life such as club activities and extracurricular activities.

World Zoonoses Day

7th July 2021

The assembly was conducted by Manisha Mondal of Courage House. World Zoonoses Day was observed.

The World Zoonoses Day commemorates the work of French biologist Louis Pasteur. On 6 July 1885,

Mr Pasteur administered the first vaccine against rabies, a zoonotic disease. This is an infectious disease that is transmitted from vertebrate animals to humans. It is caused by a pathogen, such as a bacterium, virus, or parasite.

The assembly began with the School Prayer and the DPS Anthem. The Thought for the Day was presented by Tanay Chajjer. The NEWS was read by Rishika Mehta. She also shared some precautionary measures to avoid zoonotic disease.

The teacher’s talk was given by Ms Neha Dhyani.

The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.

World Youth Skills Day

14th July 2021

"Life is like a tango; fortunate are the few who can master it.”

Learning and living go hand in hand and the more you learn, the better you live. Learning skills are undoubtedly helpful for us.

In 2015 the UNITED NATIONS General Assembly declared 15th July as World Youth Skills Day. This day is celebrated for giving global recognition to youth and promoting skills among the youth. The day July highlights the opportunities and challenges that young people in employment have

Harmony House presented a special assembly on this occasion. The assembly was conducted by Ayush Anand, the Thought for the Day and the NEWS were presented by Mohit Manoj and Divyash Kesharwani respectively. A special dance performance was presented to mark the occasion by Diva Agarwala.

Ayush Anand and Anandrup Mondal announced the results of the CCA competition - ‘Origami Art'.

The Assembly came to a close with the National Anthem.

Guru Purnima

22nd July 2021

गुरुगोबिंद दोनों खड़े काके लगो पाय

बलिहारी गुरु आपने गोबिंद दियो बताय

The students of Service House conducted an assembly on the occasion of Gurupurnima on the 22nd of July 2021. The children gave the message that 'A Guru will not only help you in your spiritual journey but will also guide you in your household life — he will awaken your powers of intuition so that you can decide what is good and what is not; he will give you powers to decide what path to take which will benefit your soul and he will guide you which path to avoid.'

Principal Madam announced the results of the voting drive held on 17th and 18th July, for the election of new cabinet members.

The results for the CCA -Show and Tell and Spin a Yarn, held on 16th July were also announced.

The Assembly concluded with the National Anthem.

World Nature Conservation Day

28th July 2021

“Conservation means the wise use of the earth and its resources for the lasting good of men.”

The World Nature Conservation Day acknowledges that a healthy environment is a foundation for a stable and healthy society. Students of Wisdom House presented an assembly to create awareness about why it is so important to conserve nature and natural resources.

Jahanavi Pawar of Grade VIII B conducted the assembly. Aarushi Raj of Grade V B shared the thought for the day and Avyang Negi of Grade IV B presented the news. Aarya Wadichar from Grade VII shared information about SDG 15 Life on Earth and the twelve targets to create action to protect and restore life on land. A special video was also screened in which a beautiful poem on nature was recited by the students of Wisdom House.

CCA Results for Draw and Colour (Grade I-IV) and Calligraphy (Grade V-X) were also announced.

Ms Nikita Pawar, a Mother Teacher delivered the teacher's talk.

The assembly ended with the National Anthem.
