A Journey to Power

One of the 51 Shakti Peethas, Dakshineswar Kali temple lies next to a small canal which is originally a part of the Adi Ganga river, literally meaning the old part of the Ganga river, and it connects directly with the Hooghly river. 

The primary significance of Dakshineswar Kali Temple lies in its devotion to Goddess Kali, one of the most powerful and revered forms of the Divine Mother in Hinduism.
