GRADE I

ENGLISH

Storytelling is a universal and traditional art form that has featured strongly in Indian culture as an effective communication tool.It is often used as a medium to ingrain values, improving reading skills and opening the minds of children to worlds beyond imagination. Grade I students were given the choice of creating their own stories by using describing words and naming words and presenting it in the class. Students created slides and presented wonderful stories.

HINDI

Hindi is the soul of Indian culture, and it is the world's second most spoken language. Learning to read and write Hindi, students were encouraged to make colourful “Barakhadi Clock “ by themselves to reinforce understanding the vowels that are the first stage in learning the language.

As its vowels (swar) are what connect to the consonants (vyanjan) students were expected to build five words with the help of the Barahkahdi clock and Students gave their best forming new words and identifying the correct matras.

MATH

Addition is a skill that is best reinforced with hands-on practice. Students of Grade I created a beam in the scrapbook. The children were expected to balance the beam by keeping the same number of number bonds on each side of the beam. Students balanced the beam and explained the number bonds.

GRADE II

The student-led conference(SLC) is a critical part of the learning process that lets students engage in deeper self-reflection. SLCs help students take ownership of their learning, reflect upon big ideas, and hone their presentation skills. Students of Grade II actively participated in the SLC and came up with beautiful presentations of the topics given to them. Subject-wise topics were allotted to each student and the whole lesson was covered through this activity. All the students were present throughout the activity and enjoyed the presentation given by their peers.

Subject- Evs

Topic-Lesson-8, Water

To present their topics students used online tools, charts, props and also dressed themselves according to their topic to make their presentation more creative.

This activity helped the children to improve their communication skills, self-confidence and public speaking skills. All the children participated in this activity enthusiastically.

GRADE III

Environmental Studies

Students received two topics and had the freedom to choose the format. Students did role play, recited poems, cooked in different kitchens, talked about different weaving tools, cooking methods and utensils. Students learned a lot from each other's presentations as well and appreciated their peers for their hard work.

कक्षा ३ - हिंदी

छात्रों में आत्मविश्वास जागृत कर और कक्षा में स्वयं सीखने -सिखाने के लिए प्रेरित करने के उद्देश्य से कक्षा 3 री अ एवम ब के विद्यार्थियों के लिए एस .एल सी . इस गतिविधि का आयोजन किया गया था | इस गतिविधि में पाठ्यक्रम को ही विषयांश बनाकर विविध प्रकार से प्रस्तुत करने का कार्य छात्रों द्वारा किया गया | छात्रों ने अपनी कल्पनाशक्ति और रचनात्मकता के आधार पर अपने विषयांश को रोचकता के साथ प्रस्तुत करने का प्रयास किया |

छात्रों में कल्पनाशक्ति , रोचकता , जिज्ञासा और आत्मविश्वास को जागृत करना ही इस गतिविधि का मुख्य उद्देश्य था |

GRADE IV

Environmental Studies

Students shared about different types of houses, professionals involved in the construction of buildings and bridges. They also designed a house for themselves and shared the basic requirements for a good house

कक्षा ४ - हिंदी

छात्रों में आत्मविश्वास जागृत कर और कक्षा में स्वयं सीखने -सिखाने के लिए प्रेरित करने के उद्देश्य से कक्षा ४ थी अ एवम ब के विद्यार्थियों के लिए एस .एल सी . इस गतिविधि का आयोजन किया गया था | इस गतिविधि में पाठ्यक्रम को ही विषयांश बनाकर विविध प्रकार से प्रस्तुत करने का कार्य छात्रों द्वारा किया गया | छात्रों ने अपनी कल्पनाशक्ति और रचनात्मकता के आधार पर अपने विषयांश को रोचकता के साथ प्रस्तुत करने का प्रयास किया |

छात्रों में कल्पनाशक्ति , रोचकता , जिज्ञासा और आत्मविश्वास को जागृत करना ही इस गतिविधि का मुख्य उद्देश्य था |

कक्षा ५ - हिंदी

छात्र सम्मेलन

कक्षा ५ वीं अ एवं ब के विद्यार्थियों के लिए हिंदी छात्र सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया। इस गतिविधि में पाठ्यक्रम के ही पाठों को विषयांश बनाकर विविध प्रकार से प्रस्तुत करने का कार्य बच्चों को सौपा गया था |

विद्यार्थियों ने अर्जित ज्ञान के आधार पर अपनी कल्पना शक्ति के अनुसार विषयांश को रोचक बनाने का सफल प्रयास किया | ऑनलाइन तथा ऑफलाइन कक्षा में पी.पी.टी. प्रस्तुतीकरण, संवाद, पपेट शो , कविता,नाट्यरुपांतरण का मनोरंजक प्रस्तुतीकरण करके बच्चों ने अपनी सक्रिय साझेदारी का परिचय दिया |

विद्यार्थियों में आत्मविश्वास जागृत करना,अभिव्यक्ति कला का विकास, तार्किकता का विकास, रचनात्मक कौशल का विकास, अर्जित ज्ञान का उपयोग, संकलित तथ्यों का योग्य प्रयोग, मानक, शुद्ध एवं अवसरानुकूल भाषा का प्रयोग तथा समूह कार्य के लिए प्रेरित करना ही इस गतिविधि का मुख्य उद्देश्य था।

Grade VI

Science

Unity is strength. When there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved. Students of class VI were divided into groups for student-led conferences and each group was given a topic on adaptations in different habitats like land, mountains and water, rainwater harvesting and water conservation. Students were very excited to present their work in offline sessions after a very long time. They collaborated together during school time and prepared very well to showcase their creative work. Some children wore headgear to represent different animals living in different habitats. They also made beautiful charts and files to present their topic.

During the SLC, students found opportunities to learn the skills and capabilities of each other and advance their knowledge.

कक्षा ६ - हिंदी

कक्षा ६ वीं 'अ एवं ब' के विद्यार्थियों के लिए हिंदी विषय से सम्बंधित एस. एल. सी. 2 इस गतिविधि का आयोजन दिनांक 17/12/2021 को किया गया था | इस गतिविधि में हिंदी पाठ्यक्रम पर आधारित विषयांश, छात्रों को रचनात्मक रूप से प्रस्तुत करने का मार्गदर्शन दिया गया था

विद्यार्थियों ने अर्जित ज्ञान के आधार पर अपनी कल्पना शक्ति और कला कौशल से विषयांश को रोचक बनाने का सफल प्रयास किया | पी.पी.टी. प्रस्तुतिकरण, संवाद, लघु नाटिका , कविता, व्याकरण एवं कहानी का मनोरंजक प्रस्तुतिकरण करके बच्चों ने अपनी सक्रिय साझेदारी का परिचय दिया | दिए गए विषयांश को वेशभूषा और रंगमंच की सामग्री के माध्यम से प्रदर्शित करना यह गतिविधि का मुख्य आकर्षण था |

GRADE IX

Social Science

The students of Grade IX excelled in the Social Science Student-led Conference conducted on 10th December 2021.

The topics assigned needed them to be creative thinkers as well as convergent thinkers. The topics were varied ranging from Reading like a historian, Case Studies, Art Integration, Slogan Writing Strategies and Promulgating a New Ministry in the government.

All the students contributed with their own academic know-how, team spirit and collaboration. The presentations were sunlit as the conference was held outdoors. While the cool breeze brought renewed energy to the students to present their SLCs, it did not intervene in the seriousness of the content matter and the students deserved all accolades after the nervous sweat.
