The World's Greatest Roleplaying Game

Thanks to a generous donation from Wizards of the Coast, DPS now has a Dungeons & Dragons Afterschool Club Kit which contains everything you need to start a D&D club at your school or library. The materials provided are meant to get a program started by beginning with  a couple of learn to play sessions. After you've finished these, you can have players come back on a regular basis to participate in play of Dragons of Stormwreck Isle.

What you'll need: ample table space, one Dungeon Master per five players, & a schedule. It is recommended running the introductory session first, which is playable in 60-90 minutes. There is also a shorter, bite-sized session which is playable in 15-30 minutes. Once you've mastered these, the complete game can span weeks.

Applications for Education

Young Minds Inspired - Are you looking for a fun and engaging way to empower your students to become more confident, tackle challenges head-on, and learn perseverance? The D&D Puzzles, Mazes, and Mysteries is a standards-based language arts program with activities that take students through critical-thinking exercises inspired by the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game and its characters. Students collaborate to solve problems during imaginary adventures, making real-world connections. The Build an Adventure program engages students in creating their own story-telling adventures. Students and teachers do not need prior knowledge of D&D to use the programs. They just need imagination and a collaborative spirit!
