An Earth Science Project That Rocks!
Learn about geology and inspire future geologists with this National Geographic STEAM kit that turns rough rocks into polished gemstones. Students can hunt for their own rocks or use the gemstone mix that Library Services provides. The polished gemstones can be kept to display in the classroom or taken home by students.
Kit comes with 2-3 bags of rock refill and polishing grit. Expect about 20 days of tumbling per bag for best results.
