Yr11 Photography has explored different ways to compose a photograph through the Black and White darkroom process, the immediacy of Digital camera and iPhone technology to the post production process of Photoshop. Students have examined different ways to take a significant self portrait, researched ideas that motivated Modernism and Surrealism and through critical analysis studied different Points of View in contemporary photography.

Students have been learning about special effect photography this term and how a simple change in the point of view that a photograph is taken from can transform an image dramatically.

This term we have been looking at the contemporary practice of artists and photographer David Hockney. Hockney works are influenced by his connection to impressionist and cubist work of art, see from multiple points of view in one snap shot.
