Lesson 3: Famous People

Prior Knowledge

Students should have letter recognition skills. This unit has been designed so that students with a little prior knowledge can develop their reading skills.

Learning Intentions

In this lesson you will:

  • read about the lives of famous people,

  • complete forms based on information in the reading text,

  • write short sentences based on information in a form and

  • watch a video and discuss issues raised in the video.

Task 1: Katie Taylor
