Dear DRA Families,

One of our most exciting service opportunities is our annual

STUFF THE TRUCK EVENT!

Friday, November 17th

This year, we are challenging each class to bring in donations over the next 7 weeks! Last year we were able to fill TWO trucks full of food to deliver to the Camping for Hunger school bus! This local food drive is celebrating its 15th year and is coordinated by our local radio station, The River 95.3.

DRA became involved with this community event 14 years ago and continues to contribute through the support of our families who have helped it grow larger each year!

This year, in an effort to surpass our previous totals, we are asking for your help once again! Each week, starting NEXT WEEK, we will challenge the students and families of DRA to supply donations that benefit our local C-CAP. Our hope is to make this fun and engaging for our students while also learning and embracing the value of helping others in need.

“Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.” Isaiah 58:10

This school-wide event is sponsored by the Interact Club of Dominion Ridge Academy.

The Interact Club brings together youth to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of service above self.  Community service helps in fostering personal growth, valuable skills, and a sense of belonging. As Christians, we are called to love and serve one another.

Our FIRST Challenge is COOL BEANS!! The Interact Club members will be collecting donations during drop off next week! Check out the flyer below for more information! Classes will be rewarded each week for participation!

We appreciate your partnership and support in helping DRA students facilitate this local mission!

Blessings,
