Dear Parents,
We hope this message finds you well. We wanted to extend my deepest gratitude to each of you who attended our very first Fundraising Committee meeting. Your presence and engagement were incredibly valuable, and we are excited about the progress we can make together.
A special thank you goes out to Sherry Moser and Tracy Lester for their insightful contributions and enthusiasm. Your ideas and energy are truly inspiring and will undoubtedly help shape the success of our future events. Thank you to our staff who also attended and offered support, Mr. Gibson, Mrs. Acosta, Mrs. Winner, and Mrs. Knapp. We look forward to Mrs. Coughenour and Mrs. Hoover joining us at our next meeting.
Each of your individual experiences and dedication brings a wealth of knowledge that will be instrumental in guiding our efforts.

We are thrilled to announce that DRA will be participating in this year’s Festival of Leaves on October 12th. This is a fantastic opportunity for our school community to come together, celebrate the season, and raise funds to support our students and programs.
To make our participation a success, we are seeking bakers to contribute homemade nut-free goodies to our bake sale. The proceeds from the sale will directly benefit our school, so your delicious creations will not only delight attendees but also support our educational initiatives.
If you’re able to help by donating individually wrapped baked goods, please click here. Your participation will make a big difference!
Thank you for your continued support. Let’s make this year’s Festival of Leaves a memorable and successful event for our school!

At Dominion Ridge, we prioritize serving one another within our school, contributing to our community, and making a Christ-like impact globally. This year our global contribution will support missionaries to the indigenous Yanomamo Indian tribe in the jungles of the Amazon. Mission Padamo has served in the Amazon since 1953. Their objective is simple, feed the hungry, clothe the poor, and teach Christ to everyone.

🏐 VOLLEYBALL
Our middle school girls got to see some action on the courts this week in a scrimmage against PCA and they did AWESOME. Next week there will be no games, only practices for Volleyball.

🏹ARCHERY
We are still accepting archers for the Archery team, so if your child is interested, please reach out to Coach Herndon, Coach Jenkins or myself and we’ll get details to you. Please be reminded that VHSL forms are required to participate, most area quick care clinics and urgent care locations will accept appointments for sports physicals. You can download required Archery Forms here and if you have a non-enrolled Warrior, please also complete the Statement of Good Standing attached to this email. Thank you to those who have already turned them in and we apologize for any confusion on the documents or when they are due!
Practices - Practices will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 - 5:30, immediately following school release. For safety and security, coaches will release archers to parents at dismissal at the atrium doors.
Calendar - Changes to practices will be communicated via this email group, however feel free to visit our school calendar for confirmation. https://dominionridgeacademy.com/calendar/
Fees - Enrolled player fees will be assessed through Stellar. If you have any questions regarding the fees, please let me know.

DRA Students: Living Out the Love of Jesus in Action!
Meet your Rotary Club Interact Officers:
President: Hallie Herndon
Vice President: Evan Hill
Secretary/Treasurer: Sarah Tutton
Interact clubs engage in meaningful service by organizing at least two projects annually: one that benefits their school or local community and another that fosters international understanding. Supported by Rotary club sponsors, Interactors receive mentorship and guidance as they plan and execute these projects, while also developing valuable leadership skills. At DRA, every high school student is a member of Interact, led by their dedicated officers. This year's first initiative involves collaborating with the Front Royal community to combat hunger. We are excited to see how our students will make a positive impact and serve His Kingdom throughout the year!
A special thank you to Mrs. Winner for leading our Interact students this year!
