PUNCH APPROVAL

User can Approve/Reject a punch request only if user is the top-most hierarchy. If user is, then user's decision will be considered as the final decision about punch request; regardless of the lower hierarchies suggestion. For approving/rejecting a punch requisition, user can enter his/her remarks in the text area provided and click on the respective button below the remarks space.

On Approval/Rejection of punch application:

• Respective leave application will be removed from user's punch approval page.

• Respective leave application will be removed from the punch approval page of all hierarchies whose suggestion is pending.

• Status of the punch request shall be updated in applicant's page as approved/rejected.

• Mail indicating the top-most hierarchy's response to the punch request shall be sent to applicant.

The page will display the category list box. Category list box will display all the active categories of the Institution. And the buttons are available for listing punch requests of the employees based on the punch type. Employees with punch requisition will be displayed according to the category and the type selected. Employee details, Punch details & Status will be displayed.

• Miss Punch : List the miss punch requests of the employees under the hierarchy.

• Late Come : List the late punch requests of the employees under the hierarchy.

• Early Out : List the early out punch requests of the employees under the hierarchy.

• Full Day : List the full day punch requests of the employees under the hierarchy. The full day punch request shall be combination of Late come & Early Out, Late come & Miss Punch, Early out & Miss punch.

• Less Working Hours : List the less working hours request of the employees under the hierarchy.

User can select the multiple requests or Select All the request by clicking the Select All check box and click on Approve All / Reject All Button after entering suggestion.

The View Details Button is present on the punch details column. When clicking on the View Details Button, all the punch request of the employees will be displayed. User can Approve /Reject the punch using the Approve / Reject Button.
