Ms. Stephanie Tumampos graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics from the University of the Philippines in Los Banos where she focused in Instrumentation. She acquired her Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of the Philippines in Diliman. During her graduate program, she is an exchange research student at Chia Nan University in Tainan, Taiwan, specializing in water treatment and management.
She has worked as a research intern at the Department of Science & Technology, as a research project staff of MECO-TECO Project in the University of the Philippines, as a science journalist for BUSINESSMIRROR, a researcher, an executive assistant, and the space science program head, educator, and outreach coordinator for REGULUS SPACETECH INCORPORATED. She was responsible for the research of space applications and policies that helped mold the roadmap of the Philippine Space Agency that was recently passed into law.
She is currently taking her EMJMD Copernicus Master in Digital Earth degree in the University of Salzburg (Austria) and University of South Brittany (France). It is a joint graduate program that focuses on the application of Copernicus satellite system data into useful value to address current challenges in the planet, and help achieve UN Sustainable Development Goals.
