Lynlei Pintor, Ph.D. is the Supervising Science Research Specialist of the Urban Parks and Recreational Areas Unit of the Ecosystems Research and Development Bureau. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Community Development in the University of the Philippines, Los Baños. Her field of specialization includes strategic planning and public policy, environmental science, social science, project management, monitoring and evaluation.
Dr. Lynlei is a grand slam leadership awardee by the UPLB Alumni Association, UPLB Graduate School, and College of Public Affairs and Development. Recipient of Gamma Sigma Delta Honor Society in April 2013 and awarded as Most Prolific Writer Year-End Assessment of ERDB in December 2020. Her other awards include Best Paper Award - PSSN International Conference in May 2014, Best Paper Award - APEAEN International Conference in August 2014, Best Paper Award - PSSN International Conference 2017. She was awarded by Secretary Roy Cimatu of the DENR in 2018 for the publication on the National Greening Program.
Dr. Lynlei has national and international journal article publications. She’s a book chapter author on climate change adaptation, circular economy, agricultural waste, healthcare waste, and urban solid waste management. She was a consultant in Laos on Integrated Disaster and Climate Risk and Nutrition-Sensitive Agriculture for Food Security and private corporations in the Philippines. She has implemented national and international research projects and engages as plenary speaker in national and international conferences.
