E-Learning

Maple P.E. would like students (and families) to continue to challenge themselves to be active during times where remote learning is being implemented. Throughout all E-Learning sessions, students will be asked to participate in a moderate to vigorous physical activity of their choice. Students may also complete one of the many Maple E-Learning Exercise Programs to best meet each remote learner's needs.

We have created a series of sample workouts for students to choose from that do not require any fitness equipment. There are additional links below that can be accessed to a wide variety of exercises, video demonstrations, and sample workouts below.

Students should follow the same in-class guidelines for safety and personal well-being: focus on proper form/technique, targeting 12-15 repetitions (challenge by choice; quality over quantity), correct spotting when working out with a partner, maintaining a healthy heart rate of 120-180 BMP during cardiovascular training (manual or heart rate monitor assessed), resting as needed, properly hydrating (water), adhering to a healthy nutrition plan, and following all individual medical recommendations as prescribed by a doctor.
