About the Director

Dr. Vermillion (Freshman Chorus, Mixed Chorus, Show Choir, Acappella, and Choraliers) has been teaching throughout northern Illinois for nearly 30 years:  K-12 instrumental, vocal, and general classroom music.  He graduated from Elgin Community College, McHenry County College, Elmhurst College, VanderCook College of Music, and Northern Illinois University.  He loves musical theatre and co-directs the BNHS musical.  He also loves roller coasters and most things Disney.  He lives in a neighboring town with his wife (Mrs. Vermillion) who teaches at BCMS and their two children.
