Hub Arkush graduated Deerfield High School in the year of 1971 going on to Southern Illinois University before transferring to the University of Michigan. After college, Hub went on to be the editor and general manager of Chicago Football and ChicagoFootball.com, a magazine and website devoted to coverage and analysis of all things football in northern Illinois. Dean Bernardi graduated from Deerfield High School in 1993 going on to be the bass guitarist and backing vocalist for the rock band Chevelle. Mark Carlson graduated from Deerfield High School in 1976 going on to be an American Football Quarterback on the Minnesota Golden Gophers. His senior year in college he passed for 2188 yards and 11 touchdowns, leading to Mark getting Team MVP honors on his squad.
