Solo and Ensemble Contest

During the spring semester, students in 6th - 8th grade will particpate in Solo and Ensemble festival that is held at LTHS South Campus in March. Students will be assigned with other students forming a duet, trio, or quartet and continue building on their small ensemble skills. Students will prepare their pieces during lessons for the first half of second semester and then perform at Solo and Ensemble  for a judge. The piece will be selected by the student's lesson instructor and worked on together in lessons. 

Students who are actively taking private lessons with an instructor outside of school will also have the opportunity to perform  a solo for the judge.
