Park Symphony Orchestra is currently offered to any 7th and 8th grade students with previous string playing experience. Here, students will continue to grow on their selected string instrument (Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass) and will continue to learn the necessary musical skills to be successful string players in the future. Students will continue to grow in music theory skills, playing techniques, and musical terminology. Students will meet twice a week for a full group ensemble rehearsal along with one small group lesson with students who have selected the same instrument as them. While learning the instrument that they have selected, students will also be given the opportunity to perform in concerts and competitions throughout the year.
PSO this year is utilizing Remind to send updates home regarding lessons, rehearsals, performances, etc. Stay up to date by clicking this link and enabling notifications!
