Posters and Demos

Topics | Format | Submission

The Poster Track provides researchers and practitioners with the opportunity of presenting their work-in-progress, obtaining precious feedback from their peers, in an informal setting.

Demo papers refer to something that can be shown in order to demonstrate a completed or on-going research effort. We are looking for implementations of novel and interesting concepts or systems related to the main topics of AVI.

Both Posters and Demo papers will be included in the Proceedings published by ACM Press and will be available in the ACM Digital Library.

Review process

Each paper submitted to AVI 2022 will undertake a blind review process. It will be reviewed by three members of the Program Committee, plus an Associate Chair coordinating the review process of that specific paper and acting as a meta-reviewer. Only high-quality papers will be accepted, granting an acceptance rate of no more than 25%, in agreement with the past editions of AVI conference, already held in cooperation with ACM.

Proceedings

Accepted full and short research papers, as well as poster, demo papers and workshop descriptions will be included in the Proceedings published by ACM Press and will be available in the ACM Digital Library. For each accepted paper, at least one author must register to AVI 2022 by the early registration deadline and present the paper at the conference.
