High School Transcripts
A transcript is an official and complete record that includes courses students have taken, grades/credits earned, and a cumulative grade point average (GPA).
Transcripts are updated at the end of each semester.
Transcripts and College Applications
High school transcripts are necessary for applications to 4-year universities. They give college admissions officers a quick overview of a student’s academic performance and help them decide who to admit.
There are two types of high school transcripts: official and unofficial. Official transcripts are sent to colleges directly from high schools, while unofficial transcripts can be given directly to students.
Official Palm Desert High School Transcripts can be ordered by choosing one of the options below. Unofficial copies of high school transcripts can be requested at any time from the Counseling Office.
Official transcripts ordered through Parchment can be mailed via the U.S. Postal Service to the colleges, universities, scholarship or home addresses for a $4.90 fee. Students/Parents will be asked to create an account on Parchment.com before a request for an official transcript can be made. (Transcripts sent electronically may be tracked)
Choose to have the hard copy of their official transcript mailed via the U.S. Postal Service to the colleges, universities, scholarship or a home address of their choice. A service fee of $2.00 for each additional transcript prepared by the registrar will apply after the 5 free copies are ordered.
