Masago Elementary School is situated in P-20, a sitio named Masago, of a peaceful barangay located along the mountainous southeastern part of Butuan City known as Barangay Maguinda, a barangay which is thirty (30) kilometers away from the Butuan city proper. It can be located along the junction going to Sumile and Florida proper which can be reached by public utility buses, single motorcycles commonly as “habal-habal” and other vehicles passing through a rugged, muddy road when rainy days and dusty when sunny days.

Masago Elementary School has a total land area of 5000sq. m. documented with a Tax Declaration and a deed of donation. It has 3 buildings with 5 instructional rooms and a multi-purpose hall. Moreover, it is a multi-grade school with a total population of 68 school-age children offering complete elementary education manage by the 3 teachers and a school head.

The school is blessed with area suited for gardening. Bananas and coconuts are around. There are 3 teachers and 1 School Head. There are nine (3) buildings and twenty-seven (5) classrooms. Half of a classroom is maximized as School’s office. It has one (1) E-classroom labeled as multi-purpose showroom, (3) classrooms for instructions. Classrooms were enough to accommodate children and teacher ratio in a classroom setting.
