History

Eastern Bacoor National High School is one of the regular national high schools in the City Schools Division of Bacoor. It is situated at the center of Barangay Queen’s Row Central, City of Bacoor, Cavite which is a prominent subdivision in the area. The school caters the young learners coming from three nearby barangays, such as Queen’s Row East, Queen’s Row West, and Queen’s Row Central comprising 15% only of the enrollment. The presence of nine (9) private schools around the vicinity lessen the number of enrollees from the subdivision. Huge number is coming from the informal settlers of Barangay Molino 2, Molino 3, and Molino 7 that constitute the 85% of the school enrollment.

School performance on access and quality is generally low. Learners from the cited depressed areas are noted to be the significant contributors of high rate of school leaver and failure.  These are basically rooted from below poverty line economic status of large number of families, broken home, and frequent transfer of residence due parents’ job’s temporary set-up. Moreover, school issues regarding misbehavior and participation are also noted to come from this group of learners.

The school’s proximity from barangay hall and police outpost of about 100 meters and non-existence of establishments and recreational centers which might invite learners to cut classes and absence supports school’s conduciveness as learning center.
