Governance and Operations ensures the capacity of the organization to continuously improve and be strategic in managing the environment for which “teaching and learning” takes place.
Youth Formation (YF) provides youth-serving units and organizations with responsive, learner-centered, youth-oriented policies, standards, guidelines, programs, and projects to contribute to the holistic development of learners who are values-driven, career-oriented, culturally-rooted and socially responsible citizens.
Research is "creative and systematic work undertaken to increase the stock of knowledge". It involves the collection, organization, and analysis of information to increase understanding of a topic or issue. A research project may be an expansion on past work in the field.
Education Research – is the “scientific field of study that examines education and learning processes and the human attributes, interactions, organization, and institutions that shape educational outcomes”2
School Coordinators (SC) are teachers or administrators who volunteered on behalf of their schools to ensure that the Field Experience is conducted in accordance with the tenets School.
OK sa DepEd focuses on the five major school health programs of the Department:
School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP)
National Drug Education Program (NDEP); Adolescent Reproductive Health Education (ARH)
Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) in Schools (WinS) Program and
medical, nursing, and dental services.
Disaster Risk Reduction is the concept and practice of reducing disaster risks through systematic efforts to analyze and reduce the causal factors of disasters. Reducing exposure to hazards, lessening vulnerability of people and property, wise management of land and the environment, and improving preparedness for adverse events are all examples of disaster risk reduction.
