Well planned school canteen supports pupil development and learning. They provide adequate nutrition which gives pupils and staff high energy levels and prevents diseases. This is the reason why most people agree that the canteen is one of the most important parts of school life. Foods serve may and may not be beneficial to school children’s health so canteen really plays a vital role in the attitude of pupils in selecting foods to eat during school days. In Mabuno Elementary School, our canteen is being managed by the TLE Coordinator.
