2019-2020 SPG Action Plan

Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 47, s. 2014, entitled “Constitution and By-Laws of the Supreme Pupil Government and Supreme Student Government in Elementary and Secondary School and DepEd Order 25, s. 2018 entitled School Calendar for School Year 2018-2019, Mabuno Elementary School held the SPG election on February 15, 2019.
Three days were given to the candidates to campaign and it was done orderly, organized, fair and peaceful. It was held in accordance with the DepEd Student Government Election Code. Chairperson and members of the Commission on Election prepared the needed paraphernalia to be used during the election. They see to it that the materials to be used are all ready during the election, ballots, ballot box, pencils, folders, indelible ink and pad.
On the day of election, members of the Commission on Election with the guidance of the Chairperson, conducted the election fair, organized and peaceful. They see to it that the voters cast their votes in their respective precincts or polling place. Chairman in each precinct issued the ballots to the voters by affixing first their signature at the back of the ballots and ensuring that the signature and thumb mark of the voters was affixed also in their ballots. Co-chairman were responsible in letting the voters affix their names in the attendance sheet and the other members were responsible in putting indelible ink to the fingernails of each voter symbolizing that he/she has already casted his/her votes and ensuring that the voters are in line to keep the voting peacefully.
During the counting, everybody was eager to know who won. Almost all of the pupils witnessed the counting as if they were ensuring that there will be no bias in counting the votes of each candidate. And it was done fair, honest and transparent.

Madriaga, wins SPG exec
Jeramy Jons C. Madriaga, Grade V pupil won the post for president of the Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) during the election last February 15, 2019. Madriaga won the seat with a total of 184 against his opponent with 112, a margin of 72 votes.
Other elected officers of the SPG were: Vice President, Shekinah Mae Bayaca; Secretary, Princess Dacanay; Treasurer, Eisle Faith Padilla; Auditor, Princess Charice Garo; P.I.O., Zyann Mangaoil; Peace Officer, Aldrich Dheil Trinidad.
Elected councilors in each grade level were Grachelle Alejo for Grade I, Ylleana Venice Aquebay for Grade II, Natalie S. Decano for Grade III, Kathrin Kassandra Melchor for Grade IV, Justin Carl Indong for Grade V and Gevs Haryll Carpio for Grade VI. Elected chairpersons were Marie Grace Baggay for Grade IV and Angel Kate Butac for Grade V.
The elected SPG officers will take their posts next school year with Mrs. Edlyn E. Bayaca as their adviser.#gvsoriano
