The PTA supports and puts on a wide variety of events and programs that benefit Dennis Chavez Elementary staff, students, and families. Also known as, Spirit Nights. Help coordinate partnerships in the community that bring Panthers to local businesses on a specific day, and we receive a small portion of their profits. There is typically one event each month of the school year.

Keep the PTA's social media accounts fun, engaging, and informative for our Panther families.
Collaborate with 1st Place Spirit Wear. Help organize, design, and sell home PantherWear throughout the year. Help collect passive money through programs like Box Tops, Shop to Give, & more.

Representative of our Special Education community - work together with teachers, families, and committees to ensure all needs are met.
Coordinate gifts, treats, meals, and activities for the amazing DCES staff!

Coordinate days & volunteers to help clean up/landscape the DCES campus. This typically happens on Saturday mornings once or twice in the Fall and once in the Spring.
