LOUIS EDWARD JETTINGHOFF, 92, of Delphos passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at The Meadows of Delphos. He was born on March 19, 1931, to Otto and Mary (Kershner) Jettinghoff.  On October 22, 1955, he was united in marriage to Lorene Meyer.  She survives in Delphos. Louis was a former Grand Knight of the Delphos Knights of Columbus. (02/15/24). VIEW OBITUARY HERE.

DELPHOS — It’s never an easy task to try and pick the Tri-County Man of the Year.

A panel of judges, not associated with the newspaper, decide both the man and woman of the year.

Judges look at the written recommendations and their involvement in the Delphos and Tri-County area in areas of civic, church, and social organizations. 

This year’s Tri-County Man of the Year, Ron Kimmet is especially deserving of the title.

Kimmet spent 50 years in and around the grocery business, starting in high school at Scott’s grocery store on Main Street, then at Pangles, and Chief Supermarket.

He’s been married to his wife Sara for nearly 48 years and has two sons, Scott and Keith, as well as four grandchildren. READ FULL ARTICLE HERE

The regular monthly meetings of the K of C are held on the 2nd Monday of each month. The business meeting begins at 8pm and usually concludes around 9pm. Walter Andrew “Butch” Remlinger, 70, of Delphos, passed away January 6, 2024, at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s. He was born June 3, 1953, in Lima, OH, to William and Helen (Lindeman) Remlinger. They both preceded him in death.
