The New Riegel community has a young girl who is in bad shape with cancer. The Supreme has loaned the New Riegel Knights a First Class relic. We have in our possession a piece of rib bone from the rib of Blessed Michael McGiveny.
We are planning a 9-day novena to Blessed Father Michael McGivney.
It is scheduled to start on Monday, Nov. 18 and end with mass on Tuesday, Nov. 26th.
The relic will be displayed Monday night (the 18) from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, and we will say the Day 1 prayer at 6:30 to end the day.
Then, the Relic will be available for private veneration, every day from 8 AM until 6:30 PM.
Father would like to say the daily novena prayer after each mass.
(Wed. Thurs. and Fri. 8 am) (Saturday at 5 pm and Sunday 8 am and 10 am) (No mass on mondays)
The Knights plan to have someone present from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, every day (including Sundays)and will concluding each day at 6:30pm with the prayer for that day. On evenings that there is a mass the Knights will have someone present for 1/2 after mass for viewing.
On Tuesday the 26th of November we are asking that the 4th Degree color Guard be present at the mass to escort Father and the Relic in.

Kimmet praised those who work with the various clubs and organizations.
DELPHOS — It’s never an easy task to try and pick the Tri-County Man of the Year.
A panel of judges, not associated with the newspaper, decide both the man and woman of the year.
Judges look at the written recommendations and their involvement in the Delphos and Tri-County area in areas of civic, church, and social organizations.
This year’s Tri-County Man of the Year, Ron Kimmet is especially deserving of the title.
Kimmet spent 50 years in and around the grocery business, starting in high school at Scott’s grocery store on Main Street, then at Pangles, and Chief Supermarket.
He’s been married to his wife Sara for nearly 48 years and has two sons, Scott and Keith, as well as four grandchildren. READ FULL ARTICLE HERE
