“Waiting Well: the Power of Patience in Prayer”
Guest speaker with catered lunch
Patience is hard. Especially when you’re a woman with a lot on her plate! You feel pressures and expectations, both from yourself and from others. How do you talk about these things to God? And then be patient with the way He responds? Come join our guest Stephanie Goetz and the women of our community for this reflection on waiting well.

Stephanie Goetz is a Daughter of the King, Wife of John, Mother of 3 (Joseph, Pilar, and Lourdes), Teacher, Manager of Chaos, and Coach of many things, but mostly the heart. She loves the Lord, her family, and her job, which is a Spanish instructor at the University of Michigan (in disguise, she is leading people to God through language and culture!). She has lots of zeal, courage, and hope. She has less balance, moderation, and patience. She is excited to share the journey God has her on, how Jesus has rescued her many times, and how she is constantly learning from the Holy Spirit in her life, which is a prolonged Advent of waiting for answered prayers made in hope and love to our Heavenly Father.
