► JAMES M. FORTENER, age 84, of Delphos, passed away Wednesday April 8, 2026 at St. Rita’s Medical Center. He was born May 10, 1941 in Delphos to Melvin Fortener and Marcella (Grothouse) Fortener, who preceded him in death. On November 28, 1964 he married Sharon (Buettner) Fortener and they celebrated nearly 60 years of marriage, she preceded him in death on October 17, 2024. CLICK HERE FOR FULL OBITUARY.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 31, 2026► MERLIN "BUD" TRENTMAN, age 93, of Landeck, passed peacefully away Saturday, January 31, 2026, in the company of his family. He was born on March 5, 1932, in Spencerville, OH, to the late Hilary and Martha (Gengler) Trentman. Merlin was united in marriage to Patricia (Merschman) Trentman on June 2, 1956. She preceded him in death on January 7, 2005, after 49 loving years together. He married Dorothy Grone in 2007. CLICK HERE FOR OBITUARY.
► JAMES Q. "JIM" McKOWEN, 94, of Ft. Jennings, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025 at The Springs of Lima. He was born August 2, 1931 in Lima to Raymond McKowan and Olivia (Jettinghoff) McKowen, who both preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by Marjorie (Kennedy) McKowen, his mother who raised him since he was 4 years old. CLICK HERE FOR OBITUARY.
► FREE THROW CHAMPIONSHIP - Once again the Delphos Knights of Columbus hosted the Free Throw Championship. It was on Sunday, January 18th, 2026 in the All Saints Building of Delphos St. John's school. Thank you to the volunteers, and congratulations to all the young participants. DETAILS & PHOTOS HERE
🔶 GIMMY FIVE/MEASURE UP CAMPAIGN DONATION, Each year the Delphos Knights of Columbus donate to our "Gimme Five/Measure Up Campaign" so that we can help the students with special needs from both Jefferson & St. John's. This year we collected $884 so we were able to present a check for $442 to each school. LEARN MORE
