► GRUBEY BRACKET CHALLENGE, The KofC will be hosting an all new event that we are dedicating to the memory of long time Brother Knight; Michael Grubenhoff. Grubey was the face of the KofC for many years and creating a fun filled fundraiser in his honor seemed appropriate. Learn how you can be a part of this new event that centers on the NCAA Men's Basketball March Madness brackets. The event begins March 16, 2026 but you can get started now. LEARN MORE HERE

► MERLIN "BUD" TRENTMAN, age 93, of Landeck, passed peacefully away Saturday, January 31, 2026, in the company of his family.  He was born on March 5, 1932, in Spencerville, OH, to the late Hilary and Martha (Gengler) Trentman. Merlin was united in marriage to Patricia (Merschman) Trentman on June 2, 1956. She preceded him in death on January 7, 2005, after 49 loving years together. He married Dorothy Grone in 2007. SATURDAY, JANUARY 24, 2026

► MICHAEL J. GRUBENHOFF, age 69, of Delphos, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 27, 1956, in Lima to Othmer (Bob) and Rita (Mueller) Grubenhoff, who both preceded him in death. On June 1, 1985, he married Terri (Kleman) Grubenhoff, who preceded him in death on March 29, 2021. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Dan Grubenhoff and sister in law Nancy (Post) Grubenhoff. CLICK HERE FOR OBITUARY.

► RONALD J. "RON" SCHIMMOELLER, age 79, of Delphos, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 22, 1946, to Kenneth and Mary Ann (Sanders) Schimmoeller and they preceded him in death. Ron married Bertha (Kill) Schimmoeller on July 12, 1969, and she survives in Delphos. ► JAMES Q. "JIM" McKOWEN, 94, of Ft. Jennings, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025 at The Springs of Lima. He was born August 2, 1931 in Lima to Raymond McKowan and Olivia (Jettinghoff) McKowen, who both preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by Marjorie (Kennedy) McKowen, his mother who raised him since he was 4 years old. CLICK HERE FOR OBITUARY.
